The
exception is largemouth bass, which has a 14-18-inch slot
length limit (only largemouth bass 14 inches long and less
or 18 inches long and longer may be retained).
Daily
bag limit for all black bass species is 5 in any combination;
for example, 3 largemouth bass and 2 smallmouth bass, or
1 largemouth bass, 3 spotted bass, and 1 smallmouth bass.
Location:
On the West Fork Trinity River in Jack and Wise counties,
off US Highway 380.

Location:
On Pecan Bayou and Jim Ned Creek, 70 miles southeast of
Abilene and about 10 miles north of Brownwood.

Two exceptions are red drum (minimum length limit 20 inches,
no maximum length, and daily bag = 3) and largemouth bass
(minimum length 18 inches, and daily bag for all four species
of black bass is 5 in any combination. |
| Grapevine: |
Statewide
regulations apply to most sport fish in Grapevine Lake. The
exception is a 14- to 18-inch slot limit for largemouth bass.
This length limit is designed to improve the growth of the
bass and improve the quality of angler catch. |

| Holbrook: |

fish are currently managed under statewide regulations |

Ivie: |
Statewide
fishing regulations apply for all species with the exceptions
of largemouth and smallmouth bass. The minimum length limit
for largemouth and smallmouth bass is 18 inches. The daily
bag limit is 5 fish per day, of which only 3 may be smallmouth
bass.
Location:
On the Colorado and Concho Rivers in Concho, Coleman, and
Runnels counties, 55 miles east of San Angelo.
