Welcome
to the Arlington Bass Club web site.
Our club is located in Arlington, Texas, central to the Dallas-Fort
Worth metroplex. This pioneering bass club is the oldest in
the State of Texas with roots back to 1960.
Our
bass club meeting hosts interesting speakers who are local talent
or area sponsors. It is held from 7:00 - 9:00pm the first
Tuesday of each month at
Cokers BBQ, 2612 West Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, TX, 817- 860-2066.
They have excellent BBQ
Click here for directions to Cokers. Anyone who loves to
fish is welcome to visit and join.
Our
club hosts monthly team tournaments on area lakes. We currently
have an optional-day format where each partner can fish both days
and select the best day's weight for final individual and team weight.
Partners must fish together at least one of the two days and may
not fish separately to qualify as a team. Click here for Tournament
Schedule.
The
boat fee per tournament is $10 with an optional $20 pot available.
The payout for the pot is on a 40-30-20-10 percent basis with the
10 percent paid for big bass of the tournament. The last tournament
of the year, November, is a regular tournament but is also a prize
tournament where you are almost guaranteed to get a prize worth
your entry fees. Four tournaments must be fished during the
year to qualify for the prize tournament. Members will receive
a wooden plaque with an engraved brass plate for every time your
team places in the tournament.
